Deviation Actions
I've come a long way since I first landed here at DeviantArt. It's time to sum things up a bit, I guess. These statistics are completely subjective, and I take no responsibility for their accuracy. If you want to copy this idea and use it in your own journal, please do.
- I currently have 46 published deviations.
- 27 of them contain a man or parts of a man as one of the characters. Masculine monsters count too. In two of these pictures the character doesn't present any sexual characteristics at all.
- 18 of them contain a woman as one of the characters. I haven't cut any women to pieces, nor there are any feminine monsters.
- 10 of the pictures feature some sort of a border.
- 6 of the pictures feature some sort of an electric light.
- 5 of the pictures are completely monotone or black & white.
- 5 of the pictures contain some amount of blood. One of these pictures is humorous in nature. One of them is classified as horror.
- The sun is directly visible in 5 of the pictures.
- 4 of the characters in the pictures are somehow based on the features of some real person. One of these pictures is a photograph.
- 3 of the pictures feature some sort of a space ship or a plane.
- 3 of the pictures feature a couple. One of the couples is homosexual.
- 3 of the pictures feature a naked woman. One of them is classified as mature content. As of yet, there have been no naked men in my gallery.
- There's something burning in 3 of the pictures.
- 2 of the pictures are simple fanart - 3 of the pictures have some other kind of direct connection to the outside world.
- 2 of the pictures exceed the aspect ratio of 2:1 or 1:2. One of these pictures is 4200 pixels high and 300 pixels wide.
- It is winter in 2 of the pictures. In one of these pictures, it is Winter.
- 1 of the pictures contains lyrics of some song in the description. There are no quotations in any description.

Global Game Jam 2011
Just a short writeup of GGJ2011: I participated in the 48h game making event this weekend, and it was awesome. Such an explosion of creativity! Our team's game got nominated for best game of Finnish Game Jam 2011 too, go see our game's game jam page at http://globalgamejam.org/2011/rhythm-stars and play the game at http://oletus.fi/static/rhythmofthestars/ or at Kongregate http://www.kongregate.com/games/pekuja/rhythm-of-the-stars . I uploaded our promotional image to DA too: http://fav.me/d38gfrr
I also visited Depeche Mode Baar (http://www.depechemode.ee/bar/) in Tallinn a while back, definitely a place worth going to if
Threadlessness
Any Threadless people about? I just uploaded a design for critique in the design-your-own-clothes shop in hopes of perhaps getting something printed some day. So by all means, please go drop a comment or a vote on http://www.threadless.com/critique/81020/Save_The_Electric_Fish if you're interested, that'd be a great help! Thanks.
I also made a blog post highlighting all the great new graphic design tools that have appeared during 2010, go see it at http://www.oletus.fi/content/tools-changed-graphic-design-forever-2010
Introducing Oletus.fi
I've relocated my personal art gallery along with other personal information from Hectigo.net to my new, leaner site Oletus now. It's a bit bare-bones at the moment, but will be updated constantly during the summer, and has more room for expansion - stay tuned for new developments!
Hectigo.net image gallery now in English
I finally added support for English comments and image names to my personal gallery at my home page hectigo.net, so it's more accessible for the international audience. I've still left my DeviantArt gallery intact too, and am continuing to publish things here - looks like things have actually taken a turn for the better around DA recently. Anyway, those of you who want to keep in touch with all of my latest work can also resort to the RSS feed besides devwatch. Over and out.
