This thing is spreading like a plague. I almost thought I could avoid it, but oh well, here we are. Blame sakur.
People often aren't very interesting - it's the stuff they do that is interesting. I don't like being boring, so making this list was hard as hell. I hope you'll find it at least moderately entertaining.
1. Parkour seems like an interesting hobby, though I think I'll never take it very far. After trying jumping over a couple of railings and noticing how easy it is I have also gotten this irrational fear of moderately high bridges. I think that some day I'll just accidentially jump over some railing and die.
2. I've recently started singing excerpts from my favourite CMX songs in the shower. It feels a bit awkward.
3. I'm addicted to Gasgames. The amount of competitiveness I've found inside myself is overwhelming. My current ranking on the total high score table is 33.
4. I like the word "majordomo". It's perfect.
5. I love the Finnish language, and hate it when people rape it. Well, I hate raping things in general, but raping Finnish is the worst.
6. Chainsaw wielding pirates own ninjas big time.
7. I bought 26 1.5l bottles of Pepsi yesterday. 4 of them were Pepsi Max, the rest were regular.
8. I'm obsessed with having all my stuff in the right place, but I rarely use the vacuum cleaner.
9. Nothing is as entertaining as learning things. I think that I'm relatively good at it too.
10. I think I analyze my doings and sayings too much.
11. Maddox kicks ass.
12. I'd like to get to know the art of Kalervo Palsa better. He has drawn multiple penises.
13. My preferred method of dying would be drowning in a lake.
14. I associate a certain type of candy with playing StarCraft.
15. My favourite 4chan meme is "NO U", though everything cat-related gets pretty close too. I don't know why. I might just hate cats, actually.
16. I eat dead things. No cats though, because I hate them.
17. I should probably care about my clothing a bit more than I currently do. Appearance matters.
18. Technically I'm not allowed to disclose the origins of my most used onomatopoetic phrase very accurately.
19. I think I might've been born at the most interesting moment possible. Too bad I can't see the future, so I can't validate this statement. Then again, that's the very reason that makes being alive right now extremely exciting.
20. I left some things out of this list because I lack the balls to publish them. DeviantArt isn't a very encouraging place for publishing anything controversial either.
It's the time to spread the disease:
You have been tagged.
This "20 things" thing might not ever end, by the way, considering the rate new people are born and joining DeviantArt. In the end, I kind of like the idea of this thing passing on from a generation to another. Like an endlessly multiplying virus. Mm-hm.
Probably it will run out of steam at some point, but anything is possible.

Global Game Jam 2011
Just a short writeup of GGJ2011: I participated in the 48h game making event this weekend, and it was awesome. Such an explosion of creativity! Our team's game got nominated for best game of Finnish Game Jam 2011 too, go see our game's game jam page at http://globalgamejam.org/2011/rhythm-stars and play the game at http://oletus.fi/static/rhythmofthestars/ or at Kongregate http://www.kongregate.com/games/pekuja/rhythm-of-the-stars . I uploaded our promotional image to DA too: http://fav.me/d38gfrr
I also visited Depeche Mode Baar (http://www.depechemode.ee/bar/) in Tallinn a while back, definitely a place worth going to if
Threadlessness
Any Threadless people about? I just uploaded a design for critique in the design-your-own-clothes shop in hopes of perhaps getting something printed some day. So by all means, please go drop a comment or a vote on http://www.threadless.com/critique/81020/Save_The_Electric_Fish if you're interested, that'd be a great help! Thanks.
I also made a blog post highlighting all the great new graphic design tools that have appeared during 2010, go see it at http://www.oletus.fi/content/tools-changed-graphic-design-forever-2010
Introducing Oletus.fi
I've relocated my personal art gallery along with other personal information from Hectigo.net to my new, leaner site Oletus now. It's a bit bare-bones at the moment, but will be updated constantly during the summer, and has more room for expansion - stay tuned for new developments!
Hectigo.net image gallery now in English
I finally added support for English comments and image names to my personal gallery at my home page hectigo.net, so it's more accessible for the international audience. I've still left my DeviantArt gallery intact too, and am continuing to publish things here - looks like things have actually taken a turn for the better around DA recently. Anyway, those of you who want to keep in touch with all of my latest work can also resort to the RSS feed besides devwatch. Over and out.
