Perynne tagged me. Guh. The text on the journal told me to copy-paste the instructions here so I could ensure the further spreading of this thing. I think I'll disobey. Didn't I already do this? A very similar thingie, at least, though less strict. Anyway:
1. I own two hats that I haven't ever worn in public, and most probably never will. Only one of them is pink!
2. I have spent a non-trivial amount of money to CMX singles, though I don't really do anything with most of them. Well, a little bit of completely irrational spending once in a while is probably just healthy. I might get rid of some of them soon, though.
3. I still visit Homokaasu daily, but for completely different reasons than I did half a year ago.
4. I seriously think Sexy Commando would actually work as an martial art to some extent.
5. I like microfibre cleaning cloths. But, oh well, who wouldn't?
6. If 16 of my answers to the 49 questions were different, I'd probably be happier. Well, some of them already are.
7. When I start eating a micro pizza with a fork and a knife, I first cut a symmetrical shape at the center (usually a triangle), eat that, and continue from there. If I do the triangle, I'll usually continue by making a bigger triangle, then transforming it to a hexagon, and then eat what's left of the edges. It depends of the size and shape of the pizza, of course - the shapes might get more complex as the size of the pizza increases, and this basic technique is mostly applicable to just round-shaped pizzas.

Global Game Jam 2011
Just a short writeup of GGJ2011: I participated in the 48h game making event this weekend, and it was awesome. Such an explosion of creativity! Our team's game got nominated for best game of Finnish Game Jam 2011 too, go see our game's game jam page at http://globalgamejam.org/2011/rhythm-stars and play the game at http://oletus.fi/static/rhythmofthestars/ or at Kongregate http://www.kongregate.com/games/pekuja/rhythm-of-the-stars . I uploaded our promotional image to DA too: http://fav.me/d38gfrr
I also visited Depeche Mode Baar (http://www.depechemode.ee/bar/) in Tallinn a while back, definitely a place worth going to if
Threadlessness
Any Threadless people about? I just uploaded a design for critique in the design-your-own-clothes shop in hopes of perhaps getting something printed some day. So by all means, please go drop a comment or a vote on http://www.threadless.com/critique/81020/Save_The_Electric_Fish if you're interested, that'd be a great help! Thanks.
I also made a blog post highlighting all the great new graphic design tools that have appeared during 2010, go see it at http://www.oletus.fi/content/tools-changed-graphic-design-forever-2010
Introducing Oletus.fi
I've relocated my personal art gallery along with other personal information from Hectigo.net to my new, leaner site Oletus now. It's a bit bare-bones at the moment, but will be updated constantly during the summer, and has more room for expansion - stay tuned for new developments!
Hectigo.net image gallery now in English
I finally added support for English comments and image names to my personal gallery at my home page hectigo.net, so it's more accessible for the international audience. I've still left my DeviantArt gallery intact too, and am continuing to publish things here - looks like things have actually taken a turn for the better around DA recently. Anyway, those of you who want to keep in touch with all of my latest work can also resort to the RSS feed besides devwatch. Over and out.
